Why Wareham?

Located just an hour to Boston and 45 minutes to Providence, for those who need a city fix, is this small jewel of a community as diverse in its geography as it is in its citizenry. The 54 miles of coastline is enhanced by many sandy beaches, estuaries, rivers and ponds and acres and acres of cranberry bogs. A very active land trust and community preservation committee is insuring daily that much of this rich and beautiful landscape will be preserved for all to enjoy. Wareham has two excellent golf courses, public boat ramps for both fresh and salt water activities, a brand new shopping mall, a plethora of excellent dining establishments, its own hospital and its own Cape Cod League baseball team. Single family homes range in price from $100,000 to $3,500,000 and up so there is some place to call home for everyone here in Wareham.
